modern dentistry, quietly delivered.
the best treatment is prevention.
Preventive dentistry is the foundation of everything we do. Regular exams, professional cleanings, digital X-rays, and oral cancer screenings catch problems at their smallest — when they’re easiest and least expensive to treat. We believe in a proactive approach: brushing, flossing, sealants, fluoride, and mouthguards all play a role.

- Professional cleanings and periodontal assessment
- Oral cancer screening (ViziLite Plus)
- Sealants and fluoride treatments

crowns & fillings.
When a tooth is damaged by decay, fracture, or wear, a restoration brings it back to full strength and natural appearance. We offer both direct fillings (composite resin placed chairside) and indirect restorations (custom-milled porcelain crowns and inlays) depending on the extent of damage.
Porcelain crowns are color-matched to your surrounding teeth and designed to withstand normal biting forces for years. Fixed bridges span gaps left by missing teeth, anchored to adjacent crowns for a permanent, natural-looking result.
- Composite Fillings — Tooth-colored, mercury-free, bonded directly
- Porcelain Crowns — Full-coverage caps for severely damaged teeth
- Inlays & Onlays — Conservative porcelain restorations for moderate damage
- Fixed Bridges — Span gaps permanently, anchored to adjacent teeth
gum disease treatment.
Gum disease (periodontal disease) is an infection of the tissues that hold your teeth in place. It’s typically caused by poor brushing and flossing habits that allow plaque to build up and harden. In advanced stages, it can lead to sore, bleeding gums, painful chewing, and tooth loss.
Early detection is key. Gingivitis (the earliest stage) is reversible with professional cleaning and improved home care. More advanced periodontitis may require scaling and root planing, antibiotic therapy, or surgical intervention.
- Gums that bleed when you brush or floss
- Red, swollen, or tender gums
- Gums pulling away from the teeth (recession)
- Persistent bad breath or bad taste
- Loose teeth or changes in bite alignment
pinhole® gum rejuvenation.
The Pinhole Surgical Technique (PST) is a minimally invasive, scalpel-free, suture-free procedure for correcting gum recession. Instead of cutting and grafting tissue, a tiny pinhole is made in the gum, and specialized instruments gently loosen and reposition the tissue over the exposed root surface.
Most patients experience minimal discomfort and see immediate cosmetic improvement. Recovery is dramatically faster than traditional gum grafting — most return to normal activities the next day.
- No scalpel, no sutures, no donor tissue
- Multiple teeth can be treated in one visit
- Minimal post-operative discomfort
- Immediate cosmetic improvement
- Faster recovery — most patients return to normal the next day
sleep apnea & SomnoDent® therapy.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) occurs when the airway collapses during sleep, causing repeated breathing interruptions. Left untreated, it increases risk of heart disease, stroke, and daytime fatigue. For patients who can’t tolerate CPAP, oral appliance therapy offers a comfortable, effective alternative.
The SomnoDent appliance is a custom-fitted oral device that gently advances the lower jaw forward, keeping the airway open during sleep. It’s compact, quiet, and easy to travel with — no mask, no hose, no machine noise.
- Custom-fitted for comfort — no one-size-fits-all
- Compact and portable — ideal for travel
- No mask, no hose, no machine noise
- Allows natural jaw movement and mouth opening
- Clinically proven effective for mild to moderate OSA
sports dentistry.
Athletes face unique dental risks — from direct impacts in contact sports to grinding during intense training. Custom-fitted mouthguards provide dramatically better protection than store-bought alternatives, and they’re more comfortable, so athletes actually wear them.
We also treat sports-related dental emergencies: knocked-out teeth, fractured crowns, jaw injuries, and soft tissue lacerations. If it happens on the field, we can help.
- Custom-fitted athletic mouthguards
- Emergency treatment for knocked-out or fractured teeth
- Jaw and TMJ injury evaluation
- Night guards for athletes who grind during sleep
Snap-On Smile®.
Snap-On Smile is a removable, non-invasive cosmetic arch that fits over your existing teeth. It’s an affordable way to get the smile you’ve always wanted without drilling, shots, or permanent alterations. Made from a proprietary hi-tech dental resin, it’s thin, strong, and natural-looking.
Ideal for patients who want an immediate cosmetic improvement, a temporary solution while planning more extensive work, or a “test drive” of what veneers might look like.
- Stained, chipped, or crooked teeth
- Gaps and missing teeth
- Patients who want a non-invasive option
- Temporary cosmetic solution during treatment planning
- Special events — weddings, reunions, job interviews
occlusal disease & TMJ therapy.
Occlusal disease occurs when the teeth, jaw joints, and muscles don’t work together harmoniously. Clenching, grinding (bruxism), and misaligned bites can cause headaches, jaw pain, worn teeth, and TMJ disorders. Left untreated, occlusal disease can lead to cracked teeth, bone loss, and chronic pain.
Our Costa Mesa office uses digital bite analysis and comprehensive evaluation to identify the source of dysfunction. Treatment may include custom night guards, bite adjustment (equilibration), orthodontic correction, or restorative rehabilitation.
- Jaw clicking, popping, or locking
- Chronic headaches or earaches
- Worn, flattened, or cracked teeth
- Pain or tenderness in the face, jaw, or neck
- Difficulty opening or closing the mouth fully
traumatic dental injuries.
Dental trauma can happen at any age — from a child’s playground fall to an adult sports collision. Quick, proper response dramatically improves the chance of saving injured teeth. Our Newport Beach and Costa Mesa team is experienced in treating all types of dental trauma.
If a tooth is knocked out, keep it moist (in milk or saliva), handle it by the crown only, and get to our office within 30 minutes for the best chance of reimplantation. For fractures, chips, and luxations, we offer same-day emergency appointments.
- Avulsion — Tooth completely knocked out
- Fractures — Cracked, chipped, or broken teeth
- Luxation — Tooth displaced but still in socket
- Root Fractures — Damage below the gum line
- Soft Tissue Injuries — Lacerations to lips, cheeks, or tongue
